Learn to paint watercolours in the beautiful city of Chiang Mai


Love watercolours and would love to be able to paint? Already paint but want to improve? Or just want to spend an enjoyable and creative time in some of the best temples in Chiang Mai?

Worawuth Srakaeo (Wuth) is now offering 1-to-1 or very small group watercolour painting courses in English or Thai. Each course is tailored to your needs, covering everything from the basics to improving your technique.

What we offer

Tuition is offered as a minimum of 2 hrs and can be held at any of the following locations

  • at any of the beautiful temples around the city*, or
  • at Wuth’s studio in central Chiang Mai (near Kad Suan Kaew on Huay Kaew road)

The hourly rate is 450THB for one person, with reductions for the 3rd and 4th person. *Please note that there is an additional 1 hour surcharge to cover travel time for en plein air temple trips.

All materials are included in the price (watercolour paper blocs, an extensive selection of professional brushes, Cotman paint tubes and painting boards). Unless of course you wish to bring your own.

Unique Full Day Studio and Outdoor Painting Trip

A unique, memorable and relaxing day. You start the morning with a 3 hour outdoor painting trip at one of the beautiful temples in Chaing Mai (it’s much cooler in the mornings). After a break for lunch, we return to the air con studio for the second half of the day’s tuition. Prices are from 3250baht per person. Please enquire below.
